The naval pentathlon competition of the 7th World armyman games will be held in Mulan Lake Campus of Naval Engineering University from March 23. This competition has set up 5 events, such as obstacle running, life-saving swimming, navigation technology, practical swimming and amphibious cross-country competition. Among them, the competition ship used in the navigation technology project is "made in Qingdao", which is specially developed and manufactured by AOX Thomson (Qingdao) yacht Co., Ltd. for the 7th world military games. According to the five rules of the Navy, the sailing competition requires athletes to complete the actions of climbing mast, dragging cable, rowing, etc. ANOX Thomson (Qingdao) yacht Co., Ltd. has ordered 18 racing boats for this event. These racing boats are anox-305, with a length of 3.05M, a V-shaped bottom and a tail angle of 11 degrees. They have good stability. The Navy pentathlon originated from a training program introduced by Italy in 1949 to establish the physical fitness standard of naval officers. It is the third all-around military characteristic competitive event created by the International Council of military sports after the military pentathlon and air force pentathlon. In March 2017, China formally established the Navy pentathlon team, which was renamed the August 1 Navy pentathlon team of the people's Liberation Army in 2018.
